Jackie's Painting Technique

Jackie creates original abstract acrylic paintings on canvas using an unique technique. She is an amputee, who uses her residual finger nubbins as her painting "tools". See some of her finished paintings. Here are a few photographs depicting the artists' technique:

Music plays a important role in Jackie's artwork. Before beginning a new piece, she selects the colors as well as some music. She then submerses herself into the music and paints. The music influence is readily seen in the her paintings, as they often depict a feeling of movement and life.
